About this policy
This policy explains what information Kincaid Law PLLC (the “Firm,” “we,” or “us”) collects through this website, kincaidpllc.com, and how we use it. It does not cover information we receive while representing clients, which is governed by our professional obligations and the terms of our engagement.
Information we collect
Visits to the site. This website has no accounts, sign-up forms or comment features. Like nearly every website, it is delivered through a hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., which processes standard technical information for each request (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time) in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate, for example which pages are viewed, which sites refer visitors, and visitors’ countries, browsers and device types. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or other browser storage and does not fingerprint visitors. We see only aggregate figures and cannot identify individual visitors.
Information you send us. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and a description of your matter.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set cookies. It does not use advertising networks, tracking pixels or social-media trackers. The site links to LinkedIn; if you follow that link, LinkedIn’s own privacy policy applies.
How we use information
We use the information described above to operate, secure and improve the website; to respond to inquiries, including checking for conflicts of interest; and to comply with our legal and professional obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and our practice (such as Cloudflare for hosting and analytics, and our email provider), when required by law or legal process, or when needed to protect the rights and safety of the Firm or others.
Contacting us
Sending us an email or leaving a message does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information until an attorney has confirmed that we can represent you. See our Terms of Use for more.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
